The official cause of death for Stephen “tWitch” Boss was found to be a suicide from a gunshot wound.
There were “no signs of foul play,” according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, and the case has been declared closed.
The 40-year-old dancer was located on Tuesday in the bathtub of his hotel room at the Oak Tree Inn in Encino, California, only a 14-minute walk from his house, as Page Six previously reported.
Boss’ wife, Allison Holker, called the police that morning after seeing her husband had left their house without his car, which was unusual for him.
After hearing the heartbreaking news of Boss’ death, his wife and several close relatives and friends praised him for maintaining a positive outlook despite his own internal challenges.
“I have to tell you that my husband Stephen has left us with the heaviest of hearts,” Holker began her statement to People. “Stephen radiated light wherever he went. Above all else, he placed a high value on his family, friends, and community.
